Trade → Wait → Earn
Go long or short on stocks, crypto, currencies, gold and predictions. Your collateral sits in Treasury bills from the second you open to the second you close, so the waiting pays. Opening soon on Solana.
While you wait
Everywhere else, the margin behind an open trade sits idle for as long as the trade takes. On clava it stays in Treasury bills the whole time, and keeps earning.
One trade, held · an example
Bring $2,000 of USDC. The app swaps it into USDY, a tokenised Treasury bill, and opens a 5× long on Nvidia with it.
The thesis takes three weeks. The USDY behind it is not sitting still: its price rises every day as Ondo passes on what the bills pay.
The take profit fills on day 21. You get the trade’s result and the same USDY back, now worth more than when you put it in.
An example. Nvidia starts at today’s price and rises 6%; USDY earns its live rate.

Your collateral, meanwhile
Each vault holds one dollar token whose price climbs as its issuer pays yield into it. clava holds the token itself and nothing else: it is never lent on, re-staked or swapped behind your back.
A worked example
Fees, spread and carry exactly as the program charges them. Yield at the token’s rate today, which moves. A worked example, not a forecast.
The other side
Every trade is made against its vault’s pool. Depositors keep the token’s own yield, take 80% of every fee and of the carry, and are paid whatever traders lose. They also pay out whatever traders win, so this is not a savings account.
How a trade works
How a trade will work when clava opens. The program is written and tested; it is not on Solana mainnet yet.
Bring USDC. The app swaps it into the vault’s token through Jupiter and shows the cost before you sign. Already hold USDY, jlUSDC or syrupUSDC? Skip it.
The oracle signs a live price, and your transaction carries it to the program. The trade opens at that price, worse by the market’s small spread.
Your collateral stays as the token, locked in the program, and its price keeps climbing. Set a take profit and a stop loss; they live on chain with the trade.
Close it yourself, or anyone fills your take profit or stop loss the moment a signed price crosses it. The result lands in the same token.
The terms
The rules the trading program is built with. Numbers may still change before launch; if they do, this list changes first.
Read this part before the other parts
The program is new and it is not audited. When it launches, three keys will be held by the team, and this is everything each of them will be able to do.
Upgrading Solana programs is normal and it is also the biggest trust you place in us. We will announce every upgrade on X before it happens.
Fees, spreads, carry, leverage and limits, within caps written into the program, including for trades already open. It can pause new trades. It cannot move your collateral or the pool.
A wrong price would be acted on. It is checked against several public sources before it is signed, and it can only make a price, never move funds.
Questions
Because it is never turned into plain dollars. It is held as a token such as USDY, whose dollar price rises every day as its issuer passes on what Treasury bills pay. The program keeps that token until the trade ends and hands the same token back. The yield is the difference in what it is worth.
From the token’s issuer, not from us. USDY is short-term US Treasuries and bank deposits held by Ondo. jlUSDC is USDC lent out through Jupiter Lend. syrupUSDC is Maple’s institutional lending pool. We add nothing to their yield and take nothing from it, and none of them promises it.
Four things, each a share of the trade’s size: 0.08% to open, 0.08% to close, a carry of 0.01% a day (0.005% on currencies), and a spread on the price each way. There is no funding rate that changes by the hour. The ticket shows every one of them before you sign.
No. Bring USDC and the app will swap it into the vault’s token through Jupiter before you open, and back when you want. The swap has its own small cost, shown before you confirm.
Forty-one markets: fifteen US stocks and ETFs, eight coins, six currency pairs, gold and silver, and ten predictions. Stocks trade while New York is open, currencies and metals through the foreign-exchange week, crypto and predictions always. When a market is closed nothing can be opened, closed or liquidated on it.
A prediction’s price is the chance of yes, in cents, read from Polymarket’s order book. Yes is a long on that price and No is a short, at up to 2×. It is a position on the price, not a share in the outcome: it can be liquidated on the way, and the most it can win is four times its collateral. Trading stops three days before the question is decided.
You set the prices and they are stored with your trade on chain. Anyone may then close it for you the moment a signed price crosses one, for 0.02% of size out of the proceeds. A stop loss fills at the price at that moment, which in a fast market can be worse than the one you set.
The vault’s pool: people who deposited the same token to earn the fees. The most a trade can win is four times its collateral, and that is set aside from the pool when the trade opens, so a winner is always paid.
Not yet. clava is a waitlist today: the trading program is written and tested, but it is not on Solana mainnet. Join the list and we will write to you once, the day it opens. News first on @joinclava.
No. A few percent a year does not cover a bad 5× trade, or anything close. Leverage can lose you all of your collateral. The yield is a reason not to pull collateral out between trades, and nothing more.
